CICERO, Ill. - "MACHO" Miguel Hernandez will be back in the ring, "living the dream" and fighting proudly this Friday. But, that's not all he's proud about.

"I am very proud of all of my boys. However my oldest son, Joshuah, has been nominated to attend the 2007 Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) this summer in Washington, D.C.," said Hernandez. "He really motivates me to train harder and give it my all in boxing and life in general. I always said I wanted three titles in boxing, but in reality I already have three titles...My three Boys."

Below are the contents of page one of the letter informing Hernandez of his son's honor:

To the Parents of Mr. Joshuah Hernandez

Dear Parent,

I am thrilled to inform you that based on his academic achievement and leadership potential, your son, Joshuah, has been nominated to attend the 2007 Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) this summer in Washington, B.C.

Joshuah was nominated by his teacher, Ms. Therese Connell, who recognized him as one of a select group of students with the scholastic merit, maturity and responsibility to represent Hale Elementary School for his unique leadership program for exceptional 5th and 6th graders. On behalf of the nearly 400 members of the United States Congress who serve on our Honorary Congressional Board of Advisors, I congratulate you on Joshuah's achievements. You should be very proud.

In addition to meeting the significant academic requirements that are our first consideration in choosing scholars, we have been told Joshuah has the strength of character and leadership ability that will allow him to get the most out of this unparalleled opportunity. We expect to enroll an outstanding group of young achievers from a variety of backgrounds across the country. We look forward to having your son join these high-achieving students as one of America's future leaders.

Upon your son's official acceptance into JrNYLC, you are United States Representative and Senators will be notified. He may also request a press release, which you can distribute to your local news media. After his successful completion of the Conference, your son will receive the official JuniorJunior National Young Leaders Conference
