WORLEY, Idaho - A sold out crowd filled the house of fury at the Couer D'Alene Casino for another action packed fight card courtesy of matchmaker Moe Smith. The Main event featured Contender Reality series stand out Jessie Brinkley (27-5 18KO's), against the Northwest's own Luis "El Lobo" Lopez (13-10 5KO's). Both fighters were coming off of two straight losses and the fight had the feel of a must win scenario for both combatants.
Brinkley (right) began the bout at a brisk pace, snapping his jab and opening up on Luis Lopez from all angles. He fired left hooks, right hands, and uppercuts, unleashing a relentless assault as the youngster from Othello, Washington seemed baffled with his opponent's hand speed and variety of punches. A big uppercut stunned Lopez on the way in and left many in the crowd sensing an easy night for Brinkley.
