Undefeated Juan Manuel Lopez Holds Court at Barber Shop Today!

CHICAGO - Highly regarded Puerto Rican prospect Juan Manuel Lopez will head to the Humboldt Park section of Chicago on Thursday afternoon to get a haircut and greet fans prior to his battle on Saturday night, August 4th against former world title challenger Hugo Dianzo.

Lopez, of Caguas, Puerto Rico, will hit the barber chair promptly at 4pm at Luquillo’s Barber Shop at 2552 W. Division in the heart of the heavily Puerto Rican neighborhood of Humboldt Park.

Said Lopez, “I need a haircut and am looking forward to meeting my fans at Luquillo’s on Thursday afternoon.”

Said Omar Rodriguez, owner of Luquillo’s, ‘We’re thrilled to have Juanma come in on Thursday. We’ve watched many of his fights on television and are looking forward to seeing him fight on Saturday night.”

“We’ve had open workouts for many years, now we’re having open haircuts,” quipped Bob Arum, chairman of Top Rank Incorporated.

The Lopez/Dianzo battle is part of the Pay-Per-View portion of WAR FOR 4!, the championship extravaganza headlined by the WBC Lightweight Championship bout between champion David Diaz and three division champion Erik “EL TERRIBLE” Morales.
