Rodriguez's to Appear on Chicago's Univision Univision Tonight!

CHICAGO - Francisco Rodriguez and Ivan Rodriguez will face off on Chicago ’s Noticias Univision on Tuesday night in advance of their SOLO BOXEO televised showdown on Friday night, September 14th at Chicago ’s Congress Theater.

Chicago’s Noticias Univision is broadcast at 10pm on Channel 66 and hosted by award winning sportscaster Hector Lozano.

The super bantamweight bout between the Chicago based Mexican American Francisco Rodriguez and Puerto Rican Ivan Rodriguez is part of “PRIDE”, an action packed professional boxing card on the eve of Mexican Independence Day.

“PRIDE” is presented by Chicago ’s 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum’s Top Rank Inc. along with TCF Bank, TECATE Beer and Aero Mexico. The SOLO BOXEO broadcast will be viewed in more than 42 US markets and 70 foreign countries.

Tickets for “PRIDE” can be purchased in advance by calling the 8 Count Productions office at 312-226-5800. Doors open at 5:30pm with the first bell scheduled for 6:30pm.
