Aaron Williams

Undefeated cruiserweight prospect, “Amazing” Aaron Williams, has joined the Las Vegas training camp of Light Heavyweight Champ, “Bad” Chad Dawson. Williams is helping Dawson prepare for his September 29th title defense.

This is Williams’ second tour of duty with the Light Heavyweight kingpin. The 21 year old, Las Vegas resident was Dawson’s chief sparring partner as he prepared for Tomasz Adamek.

“I started sparring with Chad last week,” Williams said after a recent work-out at the Top Rank Gym in Las Vegas. “Chad is a very quick and talented boxer. I’m learning a lot and I’m very happy to be working with him.”

Coincidently, both boxers now share the same trainer. Former Light Heavyweight Champion Eddie Mustafa Muhammad has replaced Floyd Mayweather Sr. as Dawson’s new trainer.

Williams (14-0-1, 10 KO’s) is training for his next fight, October 6th, in Cleveland, OH. Williams, born and raised in Cleveland, is looking forward to the homecoming.

“I’m really looking forward to fighting in my hometown,” said the enthusiastic Williams. “I plan on giving my fans, friends and family a great performance October 6th.”

Additional information on the October 6th card will be announced shortly.

In his last bout, August 10th, Williams stopped Jeffery Brownfield at 1:15 of round one.

“Amazing” Aaron Williams, 21, is a former 9-time national amateur champion. He is managed by Albert Falcon and Patrick Doljanin. The well respected Axel Murillo serves as Williams’ strength and conditioning coach.

Williams is promoted by Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment & Sports.
