Mary McGee and Ed Ochoa pose in front of U.S. Steel

US Steel Gary Works and its 6000 Northwest Indiana area employees manufacture approximately six million tons of steel per year for clients including Ford, GM, Maytag, Whirlpool and Campbell Soup among others. Molten steel is processed at about 2700 degrees Fahrenheit and cut at 1700 degrees into 9" slabs of steel. Seen above outside of the run out processing area are One In A Million boxers Mary McGee and Ed Ochoa.

Gary native "Merciless" Mary McGee (10-0, 5 KOs) returns to the ring this Friday, September 21 at the Radisson at Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, IN. Hobart's Ed Ochoa will make his professional debut at welterweight.

"United We Stand," an evening of seven professional boxing bouts, is presented by One In A Million Inc., in association with US Steel. For tickets and more information, visit www.OneInAMillionBoxing.com.
