One in a Million, Inc.'s Pre-Thanksgiving Showdown on November 16th!

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., October 26 - Octavius James' One In A Million Inc. will be serving up heaping portions of whoop-ass and succulent servings of beat-down when they present the "Pre-Thanksgiving Showdown" on Friday, November 16th at the Radisson at Star Plaza in Merrillville, IN. A tasty feast of pugilism, this six-course event has become tradition for northwest Indiana fight fans kicking off the holiday season.
Returning to the Radisson after September's sold out "United We Stand" event, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early from Ticket Master or the Star Plaza Theatre box office. The Radisson is conveniently located just 45 minutes from downtown Chicago.
In the evening's main course, Jimmy "The Fighting School Teacher" Holmes (15-1-2, 8 KOs) looks to return to the win column after suffering his first loss this past June to undefeated Travis "Hitman" Loveless (11-0, 10 KOs). The pride of DeMotte, Indiana, Holmes' legion of loyal fans are certain to return with him to show their continued faith in their favorite middleweight.
The second course features One In A Million's own "Man of Steel," Derrick "Superman" Findley of Gary. After winning his last fight in Metropolis (IL), Superman (8-2, 5 KOs) comes home to northwest Indiana intending to look spectacular with the hope of fighting for a regional middleweight title in early 2008.
Two savory side dishes will be served at "The Showdown." First, popular welterweight Ruben "The Modern Day Warrior" Galvan (27-11-2, 10 KOs) of Hammond returns for the first time since April when his ESPN2 televised bout against Zab Judah was ruled a no contest. Galvan, now recovered from the nasty laceration he suffered from an accidental head butt in that bout, is anxious to get back in the ring.
In addition, Super Middleweight "Marvelous" Shay Mobley (16-9-1, 7 KOs) of Chicago faces an opponent to be announced.
"The Showdown" begins with two, 4-round appetizers, One In A Million Inc.'s newest signees, welterweight Ed Ochoa (1-0, 1 KO) of Hobart and light heavyweight Jimmy Perez Jr. of Hammond.
