Martin Castillo (right) lands a right on the head of Jonathan Perez en route to winning a hard fought unanimous decision over 10 rounds at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois last Friday. Referee Gerald Scott officiated this thriller.
CICERO, Ill. - The action was hot at Cicero Stadium, certainly worthy of the Solo Boxeo telecast on Telefutura this past Friday.
Although our staff writer was unable to attend due to his car breaking down en route to the show, as you'll see, our photographer, Thomas Mathis was very much present and in the moment. Enjoy!

In the co-main event, Giovani Segura, at left, sets up Wilfrido Valdez before knocking him out with a tremendous left hook to the liver in the first round. John O'Brien served as referee.
