ST. LUCIA, November 14 -- It was a proud moment for super middleweight boxer Hector Camacho, Jr. (42-3-1, 24 KOs ) today when he visited Camille Henry Middle school located in Castries. Just as the children were begining their day, they were gathered together by their teachers so that seasoned boxer could visit and speak with them of his hopes of inspiring their minds and encouraging them to reach for their goals.

During his visit Camacho interacted with the students by demonstrating boxing combinations and defense skills that he explained were necessary when stepping into the ring.

"As I walked into the school, I was impressed by how well they were behaved and how determined they were at mastering the techniques I was demonstrating," Camacho said. "I was proud to have the chance to show them my skills and to let them know that they can achieve whatever they dream of, just as I did when I was younger and dreamed of entering the ring just like my father [Hector "Macho" Camacho], who will always be my champion."

On Friday, November 16, Hector Camacho, Jr. will battle it out against Joshua SMITH (17-35-1, 15 KOs) in an8-round super middleweight undercard clash on the non-televised portion of Showtime's ShoBox: The New Generation, presented by Goossen Tutor Promotions featuring main event heavyweights Joey ABELL (17-1, 7 KOs) vs. Teke ORUH (14-0, 6 KO's) and 10-round middleweightspecial attraction 2004 Olympic Gold medalist Andre WARD (13-0, 8 KO's) vs. Roger CANTRELL (12-0, 8 KOs).

"Showtime in Paradise" will be televised from the Beausejour Cricket Ground on SHOWTIME, 11 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast).
