Aaron Williams to Face Releford on Godfrey-Jeremy Williams Card Nov. 24th!

Press Release

Undefeated cruiserweight prospect and 9-time national amateur champion, Aaron Williams (15-0, 11 KO’s), will be the chief support for Matt Godfrey / Jeremy Williams NABF Cruiserweight Championship. Williams takes on upset specialist and durable, Kendrick Releford in the eight round co-main event, November 24th on “Pinnacle Fight Night: The Heat is On in Hartford” at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.

“I’m feeling great,” Williams said from his Las Vegas based training camp. “I’ve been boxing with a Brazilian fighter, Laudelino Jose Barros, who is 25-1, with 23 knockouts. He’s fighting for a WBO title against Gregory Drzod.”

“Releford is a durable guy who will test Aaron,” said co-manager, Patrick Doljain, “He’s beaten two experienced Cuban fighters, Elieser Castillo and Ramon Garby. He has draws against Terry Smith and George Garcia and he’s went the distance with Alexander Dimitrenko and Roman Greenburg, He’s been stopped only once. Beating a guy like Releford means a lot more than knocking out a 15-0 stiff like Alfredo Escalera.”

Aaron Williams is trained by former WBA Light Heavyweight champion, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. His conditioning coach is the highly regarded, Axel Murillo. Murillo is also the conditioning coach of WBC Light Heavyweight champion Chad Dawson.

Williams is managed by Albert Falcon and Patrick Doljanin. He is promoted by Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment and Sports. You can visit their website at www.CESboxing.com
