Thursday Night Fights Return November 29th!

HOUSTON, Tex. - Cameron Parks’ Rock Solid Promotions returns to the Grand Plaza Hotel in Houston with an exciting six-bout card on Thursday, November 29th that is guaranteed to have enough fistic fury to satisfy both the casual and hardcore fight fans’ fistic appetite this Holiday season.

Light Middleweight Chase “The White Tiger” Shields, 24-1-1 (13 KO’s), headlines against Dallas’ “Tough” Taronze Washington, 9-8 (5 KO’s), in the Main Event that promises to be an “I-45 Punch Out” between two Texans that come to fight their hardest every time out of the starting blocks.


Promising Light Heavyweight

Alfonso “Tigre” Lopez,4-0 (3 KO’s), faces his toughest test as a professional as he takes on Larry “Hitman” Pryor, 2-2 (1 KO) in a fight that is sure to deliver action aplenty for the terrific Houston boxing public.

Punishing and popular Heavyweight puncher Eugene Hill, (7-0, 7 KO’s), is also slated to appear vs. undefeated Kirby Gillespie, (1-0), in a grudge match that dates back to their amateur days when Gillespie decisioned the Dickinson destroyer.

The female fighters are in action as well Thursday when Brownville’s Maria Rodriguez takes on Crystal Delgado of Pasadena in a super featherweight scrap that has the potential to bring the throng at the Grand Plaza to its feet.

Two other bouts are also scheduled on “The Night of Knockouts” and the lovely Hooters girls will be on hand as well as waitresses to serve the boxing fans every refreshment need.

This one has it all folks: great fights, great action, and great looking girls to bring November to a close and ring in the Christmas season for the great Houston boxing fans.

The Grand Plaza Hotel is located at 8686 Kirby Drive @ 610 with the doors opening and 6:30 pm and the first fight slated to start at 7:30 pm.

Prices are reasonably priced at: $25 General Admission, $50 and $60 Ringside, and $100 VIP.
