In May of 2006, when McGee's record was just 6-0, Mary won a six round majority decision over Jackson. McGee intends to beat her again, except this time, she intends to utilize the experience gained since their first fight to beat Jackson in a far more spectacular fashion. Nothing less than a KO will suffice.

McGee, a 21-year-old Gary native, won her first championship, the NABC title, in October when she stopped Tawnyah Freeman in eight rounds. The first and only female boxing champion from the Steel City, a city with a rich boxing heritage, the "Holiday Boxing Bash" will mark McGee's first performance in her hometown as a champion.

Also in action, Gary's undefeated "Dangerous" Don Moore (13-0-1, 10 KOs) looks to impress his hometown fans with another exciting performance at lightweight. Hammond's light heavyweight Jimmy Perez Jr. (2-0, 1 KO) fights for the third time since turning pro just three months ago. Making his professional debut at super middleweight, Gary native Frantoine "Tiger" Greenwood.
