Eric”Night Train” Boose vs. Troy “Basher” Beets in 8 Round Main Event

Dateline: Rochester , WA , January 21, 2008 The Northwest Boxing Association Heavyweight Championship belt is on the line for Eric “Night Train” Boose, who hails from Puyallup , WA with a twelve win two loss record. The 27 year old Boose, a former Boise State football player, will face Troy “Basher” Beets who has 12 wins, 8 by knockout. Boose lost on a disputed TKO vs. Jonathan Williams at the Lucky Eagle in October. The winner of this bout is scheduled to face Williams in June. Both heavyweights are noted for heavy punches, lots of action, and as Promoter, Bennie Georgino noted that “this will be a war, because both of these monsters hit like the kick of a mule”. Georgino added that Boose is on track to compete for the Heavyweight World Championship if he continues to improve. Beets hails from Ocean Springs , MS .

Dewey Welliver, from Snoqualmie , WA will face Billings , MT native Ben Aragon in a six round semi-main event. Welliver has 18 wins and is always a fan favorite. In a 4 round bout, heavyweights Vili “The Tongan Warrior” Bloomfield of Everett , WA , will fight Leo Berciere who hails from Great Falls , MT.
