Estrada in Good Hands with Duran & Company

Press Release

[Editor's note: This press release is discussing welterweight David Estrada, not super middleweight David "The Weezel" (sic) Estrada]

Take note boxing fans welterweight sensation David Estrada (21-4,12KO’s),(WBC # 12, IBF # 14) is putting together all the right moves in 2008 in order to win that world championship title that has eluded him.

As you know, Estrada has had hard fought battles with the divisions toughest and best in Shane Mosley 2005, Kermit Cintron 2006,and Andre Berto 2007.

The welterweight division without a doubt the most exciting in boxing is loaded with superstars and talent exp: Floyd Mayweather WBC champ, Miguel Cotto WBA champ, Paul Williams WBO champ, Kermit Cintron IBF champ, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Alfonso Gomez, Zab Judah, and Antonio Margarito to name a few, and a capable, proven Estrada is tuning up his game and putting things in order for a piece of the action in 2008.

Estrada 29 years old will be led and guided by his manager (he has never had one before) Tony De Leon of Lions Den Boxing. He feels confident and sure to place his career in the hands of De Leon.

Thanks to Dalia Duran and the Cotto family Estrada has moved this weekend from Miami, Fl to his new training camp in Puerto Rico, under the tutelage of new trainer Evangelista Cotto (Miguel Cotto’s uncle and trainer). Evangelista Cotto, one of the top trainers in the game, will definitely bring out the best in Estrada. Evagelista states that with the right training Estrada should be a world champion. Estrada will also gain valuable experience by possibly sparring with Miguel Cotto.

In other boxing related news Estrada has been one of the first boxers to wear and endorse Roberto Duran apparel by Pro Active Apparel.com.
