Kristy "Rose" Follmar, the Ball State grad who gave up boxing three years ago to experience motherhood, now returns to the boxing ring on the Budweiser Fight Night card at the Pepsi Coliseum, Tuesday, February 26th.
"Apparently, the fans missed Kristy because the ringside tickets sold out within days of going on sale, a new record in the 13 year history of the fight series at the Pepsi," according to boxing promoter Fred Berns who puts the shows together for the State Fair. "As is usually the case, we expect somewhere around 7,000 fans to be on hand for the show."
The 10 bout card features mostly Indiana talent, with one match having an International flavor. Canadian, Mike Post comes to meet up with Guatemalan turned Hoosier, Lucas Rodas.
