That's right, Howlers! The debut of Fightline with Coyote Duran is premiering on Thursday, March 6; only on www.primesportsnetwork.com !

Fightline with Coyote Duran is a half-hour boxing discussion show I'm hosting and I'll be featuring some of the biggest names and talking about the most current of happenings in Our Sport today.

My first guest will be WBC lightweight titleholder and Chicago's own David Diaz, 33-1 with 17 knockouts; who will be defending his strap against Ramon Montano, 14-3 with 2 draws, on March 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the undercard of Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao II.

Make sure you tune in LIVE but if you can't, don't stress!! You can catch the archived links right after the show or at your own convenience anywhere you can get your paws on a keyboard!

On Coyote Duran:

If quick-fisted and even quicker-witted, up-to-the minute boxing news and discussion is what you’re looking for, then Fightline with Coyote Duran is a half-hour that’s right up your bandwidth. Every Thursday night at 7 PM ET/ 6 PM Central, join host Coyote Duran as he brings you opinions, predictions, results analyses, his own spin on today’s rankings and maybe even a little surreal humor while howling with some of boxing’s biggest names and personalities.

Coyote Duran is currently the Associate Editor of www.doghouseboxing.com, a ratings panel analyst and a freelance contributing writer for The Ring magazine.

Coyote first started writing in fall of 2004 when a fan-based website for his HTML college class final caught the attention of Luke Callahan. Callahan told Duran that his own start in web-based boxing media began the very same way and after hitting it off, he gave Coyote a shot at writing analyses on upcoming fights and post-fight reports for www.talkingboxing.com; a site Callahan served as Editor-In-Chief.

After sharing many of his articles for feedback and constructive criticism with members of The Dog Pound message board at www.doghouseboxing.com, Doghouse writer Jason Petock suggested that Coyote use the momentum he built at the message board and try writing for Petock’s home site. For a while, Coyote did just that and balanced writing for both sites; interviewing fighters like Johnny Tapia and Paul Malignaggi and boxing personalities like Lupe Contreras and Steve Farhood for Talking Boxing and writing in-depth analyses for Doghouse Boxing. When the stresses of writing for both outlets became too much, Coyote elected to resign from Talking Boxing and write exclusively for Doghouse in summer of 2005.

Since then, Duran has peered into the minds of Oscar De La Hoya, Shane and Jin Mosley, James Toney and Luis Collazo for Doghouse while serving on a panel of select print and internet experts who compile the most trusted boxing ratings in the world; The Ring Magazine’s.

In March 2008, Coyote joined www.primesportsnetwork.com as host and producer of Fightline with Coyote Duran, a new weekly half-hour boxing discussion show.

Coyote is very happily married to his wife, Debbie, has two children, Phoenix and Austin, and two step-children, Scott and Ryan. He enjoys drawing and commissioning photorealistic portraits, playing bass guitar and harmonica and watching (then driving everyone around him nuts talking about it) CSI: Miami in his spare time.
