Tribal Commission Changes McKart - Marquez

By Keith Terceira

The Saginaw Chippewa Boxing Commission has officially corrected their call of the Raul Marquez - Bronco McKart bout that took place March 29th, at the Soaring Eagle Casino in MT. Pleasant, Michigan. The outcome of the bout has been ruled a majority draw. According to the McKart camp both the ABC and Fight-Fax have already been notified of the changes and suspects that Raul Marquez has as well.

Fight Fax returned my email today confirming that they had received the correction from the tribal commission.

This change throws a curve at the IBF who have already approved the bout between Marquez and Giovanni Lorenzo for an eliminator bout.

One IBF official who had been following the developments thinks this may put McKart into the ratings and that the entire matter is going before the Championship Committee.
