Daniel Maldonado retired from boxing in January, relinquishing his IBA world featherweight title without a fight.
So what's he doing climbing back into the ring on Friday night, taking on a journeyman like Terrance Roy of Memphis in a six-round lightweight bout at The Metro Sports Center?
