Kirilov and Darchinyan Weigh-in

This Saturday, August 2nd at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington, IBF Jr. Bantamweight champion Dimitri Kirilov will defend his crown against former world champion and current top contender Vic Darchinyan.
This intriguing match-up between two fighters with contrasting styles will be telecast live on Showtime at 9pm ET/PT. Kirilov, a technical fighter with solid fundamentals, and Darchinyan, a power punching aggressor, are both looking to erase the memory of recent lackluster performances. Kirilov will be making the second defense of his title, while Darchinyan will make his first attempt at a world title since losing his IBF Flyweight title via a shocking 5th round KO at the hands of Nonito Donaire.
The televised semi-main event features 2004 Olympic Bronze medalist Andre Dirrell taking on Mike Paschall in a ten round bout.
Aside from a small argument that broke out between the camps of Andre Dirrell and Mike Paschal, all fighters weighed-in on Friday without incident, all hitting their targeted weights.
