Peter Manfredo, Jr.: “I’ve been training very hard since January and have had a couple of good fights. I feel as good as ever and that’s why I wanted to fight ‘Savage’ on this show. He’s a tough SOB. There’s going to be fireworks tomorrow night. He’s a gentleman. Together we’re going to do some damage. We’re not just reality TV fighters and everybody will see that tomorrow night. We’re fighting for a title and top 5 ranking.”
Donny McCrary: “I want to thank Peter for giving me the opportunity to showcase my new skills. I’ve been training with former world champion Vince Phillips. It’s been somewhat of a rocky road for me, but I’ve always come to fight. This is what I do. You can be damn sure that Peter and I will put on a knock down, drag out fight for everybody tomorrow night.”
Joey Spina: “I don’t have too much to say. I boxed Jim Strohl a lot when I lived in Las Vegas. But (tomorrow night) there won’t be headgear or 16 ounce gloves. Everybody will see why they call me ‘KO Kid’ and him ‘Steel Chin.’
Jim Strohl: “I’m excited and thank Joey for giving me this opportunity. I’ve trained very hard.”
