Sam Hill: “I’m a police sergeant and have been a policeman (in St. Louis) 14 years. Boxing is something I love and I started in 1992. I come to win, come to fight, no matter if I’m fighting a champion, former champion or a young lion like the guy in the ring tomorrow night. I’m coming to fight, Mr. Kid Chocolate.”

Danny O’Connor: “I had a chance to go to the Olympic Games. It was a great experience but a bit of a tease. I was an alternate and got to watch a lot of fights, but I didn’t fight.
