Book Signing December 6, 2008
This book signing party is Saturday! 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM Jaime Lowe Gleason's Member and published author, will have a book reading and signing for her newest novel "Digging for Dirt The life and Death of ODB" published by Faber and Faber, Inc.
A Jingle Brawl December 10, 2008
Presented by: NYPD-FDNY-Gleason's Gym At Webster Hall 125 E 11th St., New York City. Door open at 6:00 PM and the first bout is 7:00 PM. General admission tickets are $25 and ladies are $15. Tickets for Sale December 13, 2008
Tickets are on sale at Gleason's Gym for the upcoming bout between two of Gleason's contenders. Yuri Foreman 26-0 vs "Irish" James Moore 16-1. James is challenging Yuri for Yuri's NABF 154 lb belt. The bout will take place at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Saturday December 13th. The Showtime fight will be the co-feature of Holt vs Torres III. The ticket prices are: $200, $100 and $50.
Amateur Boxing Club Show December 20, 2008
Gleason's Gym will have a club show on Saturday December 20th. All bouts are pre-matched by New York's finest matchmaker, Angela Querol. If you wish to participate call Angela at (718) 797-2872. Masters, Juniors and Seniors are all welcome. The weigh in will start at 5:30 PM and the first bout will be at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $20 general admission and $10 for gym members and amateur fighters with passbook in hand. George Kimball will be on hand to have a book signing for his new book "Four Kings Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran and the Last Great Era of Boxing" Our next club show will be Saturday January 10th.
Professional Wrestling December 27, 2008
Johnny Rodz and the professional wrestlers from his wrestling school will put on their next monthly show on Saturday December 27th. The show will start at 8:00 PM and the tickets are $15.00.
All Master's-Please Respond(as of today I have 39 positive responses) I have been approached to put on a Master Boxer clinic and Sanctioned show. I would like to have a three day event in late January or February, 2009. The clinic will be staffed with Hall of Fame Champions, World Champions both past and current and ranked World Class Trainers. The clinic and show will take place at Gleason's Gym in New York City. I would like to know if you would be interested in participating?
