CHICAGO, -- Chicago fan favorite Francisco “EL NINO AZTECA” Rodriguez will once again be led to the ring by his marching band on Friday, December 12th as he faces Las Vegas native Torrance “DYNAMITE” Daniels at Cicero Stadium.

The Rodriguez/Daniels eight rounder headlines “YOUNG GUNS”, an outstanding evening of world class professional boxing presented by 8 Count Productions.

The 24 year old Rodriguez, 13-2-0 (8KO’s), looks to continue his winning ways; having knocked out Angel Priolo on May 9th and taking a unanimous decision over Alex Becerra on July 25th.

The Roger Mayweather-trained Daniels brings a record of 12-6-1 (5KO’s) into the battle with Rodriguez, his sixth fight this year. The former amateur standout, known for his sharp left hook, was a national Golden Gloves titlist and a U.S. Olympic team alternate in 2004.

Mayweather, known as the “BLACK MAMBA” during his career which included two world championship reigns, was also the acclaimed trainer of former “Pound for Pound” king Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Carlos Molina vs. Roberto Valenzuela, six rounds, welterweights

Danny Williams vs. Barbaro Zepeda, six rounds, junior lightweights

Andrzej Fonfara vs. TBA, six rounds, super middleweights

Adrian Granados vs. Jesse Francisco, four rounds, junior welterweights

Noe Perez vs. Elijah Israel, four rounds, junior lightweights

Sergio Montes De Oca vs. Quincy Johnson, four rounds, featherweights

Advance tickets for “YOUNG GUNS” can be obtained by calling the 8 Count Productions office at 312-226-5800. Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie in Cicero . Doors on the evening of the event will open at 7pm with the first bell at 8pm.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be noted boxing ring announcer Thomas Treiber.

“YOUNG GUNS” is presented along with Miller Beer, TCF Bank, Jack Daniels and EL Jimador Tequila.

The public weigh-in for will be held at 7pm on Thursday, December 11th at Mullens Bar and Grill, 7301 N. Western on the North Side of Chicago .
