Mark Hominick Pulled From Day of Reckoning Fight Card

SEAL BEACH, Calif. — Affliction Clothing Public Relations rep Pamela Rogers announced by email today that Canadian featherweight champion Mark Hominick was removed from the Affliction M-1 Day of Reckoning card due to a bout of pneumonia. The decision to pull Hominick was made on Friday.
Hominick was set to face LC Davis as part of the undercard for Day of Reckoning on Saturday, January 24 at Honda Center in Anaheim. Best known for his wrestling skills, Davis trains at Pat Miletich's Mixed Martial Arts School, a school that dominated MMA in the first few years of the century, but has been lagging behind other dominant camps like American Top Team in recent years. Rogers indicated that the team at Affliction is working now to replace Hominick with a featherweight competitor of the same caliber to face off against Davis.
