Had I known my boxing coach once lived in Chicago's infamous Cabrini Green housing project, I doubt I would've given him so much attitude when we first met.
I showed up at the Hazel Crest Park District gym wearing gym shoes and sweats. Before arriving, my coach, Anderson "Sonny" Means, told me "be prepared to work out." What he didn't say was everything else I should've brought with me.
