'Living In The Rivalry' debuts this week! Press Release
"Sunrise To Sunset: Living In The Rivalry," written, filmed and produced by Classic Entertainment & Sports reporter Patrick Sullivan, gives fans a behind-the-scenes look as McCreedy and Starnino as they prepare for their super middleweight rematch on Friday night as the co-feature of Jimmy Burchfield's "February Frenzy" show at the Twin River Event Center.
Starnino and McCreedy fought to a draw on the undercard at "August Annihilation" six months ago. This time, the Eastern Boxing Association (EBA) super middleweight title will be on the line.
There is no love lost between these two warriors. Starnino (9-4-2, 2 KOs), a 36-year-old veteran from North Providence, R.I., will rely on his ring experience while the younger McCreedy (9-2-1, 5 KOs), a native of Lowell, Mass., plans to switch up his style from the first fight. "Our co-feature is like it's from the old days of boxing, when nobody walked away from anybody," Burchfield said. "Joey McCreedy is an Irish fighter from Lowell. He's fighting a rematch against Bobo Starnino, an Italian fighter from Providence. They fought to an exciting draw in a non-stop bout last year. They're going to let it all hang out in the ring."
