CINCINNATI, OH , (March 12, 2009) Junior middleweight prospect Rashad Holloway returns to action in his hometown against Puerto Rican banger Doel Carrasquillo on Saturday, March 21st at the U.S. BANK ARENA in Cincinnati .

Holloway will face Carrasquillo in the co-main event of “3 THE HARD WAY”, an outstanding evening of world class professional boxing presented by TMAX EVENTS and TKO BOXING promotions, home of “HOMETOWN HEROES TO WORLD CHAMPIONS.”

Holloway, 9-1-0 with five knockouts, is coming off a fourth round knockout of Junior Ramos on August 30th in Cincinnati. Carrasquillo, now based in Lancaster, PA, sports a record of 12-10-1 (10KO’s) and is back after an eight round battle with Ricardo Williams Jr. on the January 31st “HOMECOMING” event at the U.S. Bank Arena.

Said Chet Koerner, President of TKO BOXING Promotions, “We’re very happy to have Rashad on our upcoming show. He’s a terrific prospect that the fans in Cincinnati have been very supportive of for many years. Rashad truly exemplifies our “HOMETOWN HEROES TO WORLD CHAMPIONS” motto.

“And against Carrasquillo, he’s in for a very tough fight. Doel battled Ricardo Williams Jr. very hard over eight rounds on January 31st at our last show in Cincinnati .”

Now based at the Wild Card Boxing Gym in Hollywood, California, working under the tutelage of trainer of numerous world champions, Freddie Roach, Holloway is looking ahead to a big 2009.

“I know that training at Wild Card and working with Manny Pacquaio has made a Rashad a better fighter and the fans in Cincinnati will get to see that on Saturday, March 21st” said Koerner.

Also featured at “3 THE HARD WAY” is 2000 Olympic Silver Medalist Ricardo Williams Jr., former amateur standout and pro debuting Ron Siler, two time Olympian and current amateur phenom Rau’Shee Warren, junior welterweight prospect Terrance Crawford, Detroit middleweight James Countryman and Cincinnati favorites David Long and Jessie Carradine.
