Kushner Announces "Search for Heavyweight Heroes Series"

New York, NY -Cedric Kushner Promotions will launch "Heavyweight Heroes: The Search for the Next Great Heavyweight," a highly-competitive, monthly pay-per-view boxing series on In Demand, it was announced today by CKP president Cedric Kushner.
Heavyweight Heroes will be presented by Perfect 10 Magazine, and will be available at a suggested retail price of $19.95 by contacting your local cable operators.
The monthly, high-stakes series will make its broadcast debut on Monday, March 1, from the Reno City Center Pavilion headlined by two New York products in a 10-round confrontation: Jovo Pudar (21-1-0, 11 KO's) of Queens squaring off against Taurus "The Bull" Sykes (20-1-1, 5 KO's) of Brooklyn. The come backing Michael Grant (38-3, 29 KO's) faces Charles Hatcher (15-5, 11 KO's) in the co-feature. The card will be a tape-delay from the Feb. 21 live action from Nevada.
"Heavyweight Heroes is a truly meaningful heavyweight series," said Kushner. "We have raised the stakes with the help of In Demand.
"The series will showcase the next generation of heavyweight stars," added Kushner. "Heavyweight Heroes will offer quality matches, and is where the boxing fan will tune in to see important heavyweight bouts."
CKP's Jim DiLorenzo, executive producer of the series, has proclaimed Heavyweight Heroes "the 'American Idol' and 'Star Search' of the heavyweight division." Celebrity judges, fans and boxing experts will analyze the fighters on a monthly basis, and a ranking system will be developed for interactive participation.
Heavyweight Heroes will also cater to the aficionado of women's boxing. Each month, a stunning pair of Perfect 10 models will be pitted in a hotly-contested four round bout. Following months of vigorous training, the sexy Perfect 10 models are prepared to move from the photo shoot to the ring.
