O'Malley , Edmonds, WA (21-4-1; 14), 138 lbs.

Rafael Ortiz defeated Martin O'Malley by KO at :21 of the 6th round. The fight started with a whimper and ended with a bang. The first round the fighters circled each other throwing the occasional nonthreatening jab. After the second round the floodgates opened and Ortiz punished O'Malley the rest of the night. The fight ended when O'Malley staggered out of his corner at the start of the six round. He met Ortiz in the middle of the ring, and Ortiz beat him back into the ropes and literally knocked him out of the ring for the victory.

Steve Conklin (1-0) 136 lbs. vs. Terrence Jet (0-2) 138 lbs.

Steve Conklin defeated Terrence Jett in a 4-round split decision. The fight was a series of quick, powerful flurries and polished technique. Jett seemed to hold Conklin when he got inside, officials deducted points for the holding infractions, and it could have cost him a close fight. When the decision was read in Conklin's favor, Jett was shocked, as were many of the patrons attending the event.
