Mesi & Rosenblatt visit N.E. Ringside Radio Show
Thursday night, February 10

BOSTON (February 7, 2005) – Unbeaten heavyweight “Baby” Joe Mesi and former world-class super middleweight/middleweight “Dangerous” Dana Rosenblatt are Thursday night’s (Feb. 10) special guests on the New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show live on WWZN 1510 The Zone in Boston.

Mesi (29-0, 25 KOs) talks about his once mercurial career now on hold for nearly a year due to medical issues that led to the suspension of his license. The popular “Baby Joe” has appealed and awaits a decision that will determine whether he will ever be allowed to legally fight again.

The “Pride of Buffalo” and former NABF champion has victories against David Izon (27-4), DaVarryl Williamson (KO1), Monte Barrett (MDEC10) and Vasilly Jirov (33-1). Mesi was floored three times in the last two rounds of his last fight (March 13, 2005) against Jirov.

NE Ringside catches up with Rosenblatt (37-1-2, 23 KOs), who retired as a boxer and has become a successful mortgage writer and highly respected television analyst. “Dangerous” Dana once held the WBU, IBA, WBC Continental Americas and New England middleweight titles, as well as the WBU, IBO and IBA Continental Americas super middleweight crowns.

Rosenblatt avenged his lone loss as a pro to Vinny Paz in a rematch and he also beat ex-world champion Terry Norris (DEC12) and Olympic gold medallist Howard Davis (KO2).

The two-hour New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show – hosted by Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills -- airs every Thursday night between 6-8 pm (ET) on The Zone: Boston’s Boxing Station at 1510 AM and also may be heard live on the Internet by going to
