Vargas to Throw Out First Pitch at Cubs Game This Friday!
CHIGAGO - On Friday, August 12 at 1:20 PM CT, Fernando Vargas will throw out the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs-St. Louis Cardinals game at Wrigley Field. Why? To promote his upcoming August 20th showdown against Javier Castillejo at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. On August 20, in addition to the Vargas-Castillejo bout, fight fans will also be treated to a second 12 round battle as undefeated WBC #1 ranked contender Rocky Juarez challenges WBC #2 ranked contender Humberto Soto for the WBC-Interim Featherweight Championship.
