WOBURN, Mass. - The New England Ringside Radio Network strikes gold Thursday night with former Olympic gold medal winners Audley "A Force" Harrison and Andre Ward as special guests on the two-hour New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show airing 6-8 PM/ET on Boston's Boxing Station, The Zone (1510 AM).
NER hosts Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills are Thursday evening's hosts. Harrison, the 2000 Olympic super heavyweight champion, is 18-0 with 13 knockouts. The 6-5 Brit will discuss his career and more specifically his August 18 fight against Robert Wiggins (20-4-1, 12 KOs), of Providence, on the "Best Damn Sports Show Period" live from San Jose (CA). Ward (4-0, 2 KOs) will talk about the pressure of being the only 2004 Olympic gold medalist from the United States, as well as his young pro career and Aug. 18th middleweight match versus Christopher Holt (12-4, 8 KOs) on the Harrison-Wiggins undercard.
