New England Ringside Radio Features Vargas, Duva & Merchant!
WOBURN, Mass. (August 23, 2005) - Thursday night's guests for the two-hour New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show, airing 6-8 PM/ET on Boston's Boxing Station, The Zone (1510 AM), will be popular junior middleweight contender "Ferocious" Fernando Vargas, Hall of Fame trainer Lou Duva and HBO analyst Larry Merchant.
Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills are NER hosts every Thursday evening. They'll talk with Vargas about his career, including last Saturday night's victory against former junior middleweight champion Javier Castillejo. Words will not be at a premium with Duva marching through memory lane with the opinionated Merchant.
New England Ringside Promotions, a division of New England Ringside, in association with Irish Ropes and Cedric Kushner Productions is promoting "Mayhem in Mansfield," September 17 at the Dana Barros Sports Complex (MA). Irish middleweight sensation John Duddy (11-0, 10 KOs) is the headliner.
