Sports Celebrities Join Interim Heavyweight Champion Hasim Rahman To Host Local Charity Event
HBO’s Jim Lampley To Serve As Master of Ceremonies

Baltimore, MD (September 14, 2005) – Recently crowned two-time Heavyweight Champion Hasim “The Rock” Rahman (WBC Interim) will host a charity dinner for the Robert S. Pascal Youth and Family Services Foundation—a Baltimore children’s charity—set for Thursday, September 22nd from 7pm-11pm at Michael’s Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

In addition to Rahman, HBO sportscaster Jim Lampley will serve as the dinner’s Master of Ceremonies. Other committed sports personalities attending the event include ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap, HBO boxing analyst Harold Lederman, the voice of the Washington Redskins Larry Michael, Baltimore’s NFL Hall of Fame member Lenny Moore, and USA Today’s sports columnist Jon Saraceno. Rahman, who earned his title August 13 by defeating Monte Barrett for the WBC interim heavyweight title will face Vitali Klitschko for the WBC heavyweight championship November 12 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas live on HBO Pay-Per-View.

Tickets are $100 per person and include open bar, dinner and live music by New Monopoly. VIP Packages are also available.
