GLEN ELLYN, IL, November 18, 2005 - The music was great and the steak was oh, so delicious!
Cyber Boxing Zone Staff Writer, Juan C. Ayllon joined several friends in attending acclaimed blues singer Zora Young at a new CD release party at Cabs Wine Bar Bistro and, in the process, collected on a friendly bet with one Karl Hegman, who also writes for the CBZ, as well as another online site.
Prior to the World Series, Hegman and Ayllon had bet a steak dinner as to who would win. In a hair-raising series, the Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros in straight games.
Juan C. Ayllon hails from a nothern suburb of Chicago, while Hegman resides in the Houston area.
Zora Young and band plays to an appreciative crowd.
