Wright's bout includes Shaw

The drama that has surrounded negotiations for a Jermain Taylor-Winky Wright middleweight title fight reached theatrical heights Friday when the parties signed a contract to fight June 17, probably at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The bout will be shown live on HBO.

One of those parties was promoter Gary Shaw, who on Monday had been fired by Wright. But he was brought back into Wright's career - if only for this fight - because Ross Greenburg, president of HBO Sports, insisted.
