Euro-Beat Update: Sinan Sam vs. George Arias in Kiel April 8th!
KIEL - Heavyweight Sinan Samil Sam takes on Brazilian George Arias April 8 in Kiel in what will be first fight since losing to Oleg Maskaev in a WBC eliminator. Sam have since returned to Universum. Another Universum fighter back in action is lightheavyweight Thomas Ulrich, who takes on Nicaraguan Henry Saenz, in his first fight since losing to WBC titleholder Tomasz Adamek. Ukrainian heavy Alexander Dimitrenko and WIBF feather queen Ina Menzer are also on the bill.
EBU fly champ Ivan Pozo headlines a dinner show in Madrid along with Franklin Theran and Pablo Navascues.
Looks like it will be Russian middle Sergey Khomitsky that challenge WBO I/C ruler Khoren Gevor March 7 in Cuxhaven. The show is promoted by Spotlight Boxing and goes out live on EuroSport.
