Tom Donnelson: An Appeal for Golden State Retired Boxers!

Dear Boxing Pundits and fans

The purpose of this letter is to discuss a worthy cause in the world of boxing. The Golden State Boxer's Association is a grass roots community that is dedicated to helping retired boxers. Mr. Rusty Rubin of Ringsports.com and I are part of the fundraising team to help with one specific project. The Golden States Boxer Association goal is to raise $650,000 to build a retired boxer home and enough money to run the facility for one year. The money is to be raised through grants, donations and corporate donations.

We know about the problems that many retired boxers have including in many cases receiving proper medical care and even have a place to stay. Golden States Boxing Organization is attempting to do something about this. The home will be located in California.

Rusty and I are looking at two things from you. The first is that we are looking for donations. All donations can be sent to:

Julian Eget
Golden State Boxer Association
3010 Wilsheire Blvd. Suite 494
Los Angles, CA 90010

Any check sent should have in memo section: For Retirement boxing home.

The second thing is even more important. Rusty and I would like leads to any corporations or individuals that you feel may be helpful in this cause. You can send information on all leads to my EMAIL address:

TomJan52302@aol.com

If you have any questions, you can call me at 319-331-7615. I do have copies of the nonprofit status of the organization as certified by the state of California and can be sent out.

Sincerely,

Tom Donelson
