Tickets On Sale Tuesday for Garcia vs. Rivera at DCU Center!
Local Boxer Rivera to Challenge Garcia for His WBA Super Welterweight Crown
WORCESTER, Mass. — Local boxer Jose Antonio Rivera will have a chance to regain a world title when he challenges World Boxing Association super welterweight champion Alejandro “Terra” Garcia at the DCU Center on May 6 in a match promoted by Don King Productions.
Rivera (37-4-1, 24 KOs) lost his WBA welterweight title to Luis Collazo in a very close split decision at the DCU Center on April 2. Rivera will have his hands full against Garcia (25-1, 23 KOs) from Tijuana, Mexico, who has scored 23 knockouts in his 26 professional fights.
Tickets priced at $35, $50, $100 and $250 go on sale Tuesday (Feb. 28), 10 a.m., at the DCU Center Box Office, all area Ticketmaster locations, online at ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at (617) 931-2000 or (617) 228-6000.
All tickets are subject to a $.50 facility fee.
