CHICAGO, March 25 - In a time when the heavyweight division seems to be flagging, a true heavyweight amongst heavyweights had an outstanding performance in the Windy City tonight. In fact, you could say it was a knockout. Only it wasn't in a boxing ring.

Critically acclaimed trumpet and flugelhorn player Orbert Davis, played with the Orbert Davis Quintet at the famous Green Mill to a packed house.

Davis and his quintet played an intoxicating mixture of standards and original tunes to the delight of the crowd.

Amazing. Simply amazing.

Indeed, it was a truly impressive heavyweight performance.
