Robert Morales: Extra rest helpful for Corrales

WHEN Diego Corrales announced last January that he had suffered a rib injury that would prevent him from fighting Jose Luis Castillo a third time on Feb. 4, the legitimacy of the injury seemed questionable.

After all, it was only last October that Corrales suffered a devastating fourth-round knockout at the hands of Castillo in their second fight. And that came just five months after Corrales stopped Castillo in the 10th round in May in their first fight, which many have said was one of the greatest in recent times.
