CICERO, Ill. - Get ready Chi-Town as the always charismatic and colorful Stacy “Stay-Lo” Relie 4-0(2KO’S) from South Beach, FL makes her first appearance in the windy city. She is scheduled to appear in the undercard of Dominic Pelosi’s entertaining 8 Count Productions “Lightning Strikes” card taking place this Friday night, April 21st at Cicero Stadium.

Hard hitting Relie will be taking on local favorite Nora Reyes, 1-0, in a featherweight 4 round matchup. Reyes from Chesterton, In is being trained by reputable Chicago trainer Sam Colonna. Colonna trains several boxers out of the Chicago area. His most notably fighter currently is “Macho” Miguel Hernandez, the WBC United States Middleweight Champion.

Relie is being trained by popular Miami trainer and former Cuban Olympic Team trainer Jorge Rubio.

Relie which is also known as Stacy “Tyson” a nickname given to her by fight fans in Tokyo, Japan where she won twice last year said that she is “at the top of her game”. That she has the “skills and the power”. In the gym she only spars with men boxers. She has been known to lay a couple of them out during sparring sessions. Relie states that she fears no woman boxer, especially the ones at her own weight of 124lbs, featherweights. In her last bout that took place in Coral Gables, Fl on Feb 10th she knocked out Yessina De Jesus, 0-1, at .37 seconds of the 1st round with a freightening big over hand left to De Jesus’s jaw. This left De Jesus flat out on the mat for several minutes.

It was the only knockout of that night.

On Friday night she looks forward to bringing her exciting style of boxing and out going personality to the fans at Cicero, and coming out victorious. Local fans and media in South Florida consider her to be the Hector “Macho” Camacho of women’s boxing. If you are anywhere near Cicero you should not miss the opportunity to catch her live.
