Mike Indri on Jermain Taylor vs. Winky Wright.

By Mike Indri
Retired Boxers Foundation

This is a very difficult fight to call. It pits two great fighters who are in different phases of their respective careers. Wright may be a little past his peak, while Taylor hasn't even reached his zenith. Although Wright has the edge in experience, defense and overall boxing skills, Taylor is bigger, stronger and younger.

As if Taylor's two wins against the legendary Bernard Hopkins weren't impressive enough, Taylor's triumphs prove to be even more significant now, after Bernard's total anniliation of Antonio Tarver. Taylor will stand tall once again, surprizing many. Jermain Taylor defeats Winky Wright via 12 round unanimous decision victory.
