David Diaz Receives Letter of Congrats from WBC President over Dinner at Cabs!

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. - The packed urban chic digs of Cabs Wine Bar Bistro buzzed with the high energy chatter and din accompanying Friday nights, as World Boxing Council Interim Lightweight Title holder David Diaz joined former amateur teammate and current heavyweight contender Fres Oquendo, wives and friends in celebrating Diaz' title winning effort on August 12th.
This was indeed a special night. In addition to celebrating over a sumptuous dinner served up by the award-winning chef/owner, Luis Ayllon, Diaz received a special letter of congratulations from WBC President Jose Sulaiman.
Coincidentally, Oquendo is slated to fight Evander Holyfield on November 24th in San Antonio, Texas.
