CHICAGO - Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions has announced details of OCTOBER FURY, the next huge evening of world class professional boxing set for Friday, October 20th at Cicero Stadium.

OCTOBER FURY is presented by 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum's Top Rank Incorporated, along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank.

Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.

Featured on the action packed eight bout card is the Chicago debut of undefeated featherweight prospect Jason "The American Boy" Litzau who will appear in the ten round co-main event. Known for his electrifying performances across the country the all action Litzau, of St. Paul , Minnesota is thought by many in boxing to be the next superstar of the sport.

Most recently, Litzau thrilled the packed house at Harrah's Rincon Casino in Valley Center, California with a stunning ESPN televised first round knockout of Nicky Bentz on July 14th to move his record to 19-0 with seventeen knockouts.

Said Kathy Duva of Main Events, promoter of Litzau on the decision to bring him to Chicago , “8 Count boxing is synonymous with Chicago Boxing. 8 Count attracts the hard-core boxing fans making their events great showcases for future stars and current contenders. Main Events has featured many of our boxers on 8 Count Productions fight cards, "such as Calvin Brock, Joel Julio, and Raul Martinez”and we continue that tradition on October 20th when highly-regarded prospect Jason Litzau visits Chicago ."

Said Dominic Pesoli of Litzau's fight, "He's a terrific kid to watch, very much like seeing Arturo Gatti early in his career. His fight on ESPN last year with Johnny Nolasco was an outstanding display of his warrior spirit. I'm thrilled to work with Main Events to give our fans an opportunity to see him."

Headlining the SOLO BOXEO de Miller televised OCTOBER FURY is a Mexican welterweight showdown between hard hitting prospect Michel Rosales, 11-0 (10KO's) of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and veteran Jesus Soto Karass, 14-3-2 (11KO's) of Los Mochis, Mexico.

Said Pesoli, "I just saw Karass' fight with Vince Phillips and he's a real skilled tough guy who will be a true test for Rosales."

Also featured on the card is the return of Chicago middleweight "MACHO" Miguel Hernandez, 19-5 (9 KO's).
