1510 'The Zone' Joins Forces with FightNightNews.com for Weekly Radio, Internet Boxing Show
It's a marriage made in fight fans' heaven. Boston's premier sports radio station, 1510 The Zone, is joining forces with Michael Marley's hot new boxing news web site, www.fightnightnews.com, to co-produce and co-promote the weekly Tuesday night "The Mouthpiece" boxing show. The show will carried live and delayed on 1510 The Zone and will also be available live and delayed on www.fightnightnews.com
"When co-host and 1510 GM Anthony Pepe called me with this idea, I knew it was a knockout," Boston native Marley said. "This is like bringing Ali and Frazier together. It won't be long before 'The Mouthpiece' is the world's most popular and listened boxing talk program. It is a great marriage of radio and the Internet. You will hear everyone from Evander Holyfield to Oscar de la Hoya to Jermain Taylor on the show. You will hear from boxing's power brokers and its biggest stars."
"I noticed Marley's web site and I knew he was a Boston guy," Pepe said. "We've had tremendous guests on our shows before. This will not only give us more exposure around the world in boxing circles but it will add to the live broadcast experience we've been giving our listeners from the big fights in Las Vegas.
Marley will be on the scene for such upcoming big fights as Valuev-Barrett, Briggs-Liakhovich, Pacquiao-Morales, Kessler-Beyer, Holyfield-Oquendo and Mayweather-Baldomir. So we will have a live presence at fights in Chicago, Denmark, Phoenix and San Antonio as well as our usual Vegas coverage."
