When then WBC supermiddle champ Markus Beyer accepted to fight WBA counterpart Mikkel Kessler it was under the condition that his mandatory challenger Librado Andrade stepped aside. Andrade did, Beyer lost and new WBC / WBA "super" champ Mikke Kessler will have to fight Andrade.

The WBC have set November 11 for purse bids and apparently expects the parties to meet during the WBC convention in Dubrovnik October 29-November 4 for negotiations. Kessler vs Andrade will have a 60-40 purse split if the WBA title is on the line.

Should Kessler relinquish (or get permisson to go through with a WBC title fight only) it the purse bids will be 70-30 in favour of the champion.

Ukrainian supermiddle Vitaly Tsypko could be facing Jeff Lacy on the undercard to Winky Wright´s fight December 2 in Florida. Lacy and Tsypko fought to a technical draw in an IBF eliminator back in 04 when Vitaly was accidentally cut and unable to continue.

Croatian lightheavy Stipe Drews fights American Chad Dawson in a WBC eliminator December 2 in Berlin on the same Universum show where heavyweight Luan Krasniqi returns. WIBF feather champ Ina Menzer defends her title in the third headliner. Drews is also the EBU champ at 175 and has stablemate Thomas Ulrich as mandatory challenger.

Unbeaten Italian jr welter Luciano Abis takes on Frenchman Karim Netchaoui October 27 in Maracalagonis for the WBO I/C title.

German jr middle Marco Schulze will go for the vacant IBF I/C title November 11 in Oranienburg. Schulze was to have defended the German title but then stablemate Lukas Konecny vacated the IBF I/C belt which paved the way for Marco, who is a big ticket seller locally. Cruiser Serdar Sahin will be in the co-feature.
