FEBRUARY FURY, another evening of world class professional boxing. is presented by Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum's Top Rank Incorporated, along with TCF Bank and Tecate Beer.
Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm.
The heavy handed Segura, a native of Ciudad Altamirano, Mexico, now fighting out of Bell Gardens, California, sports a record of 16-0 (12KO's). In his most recent bout, Segura won a unanimous decision over Carlos Tamara in a very hard fought battle at the Palo Dura Golf Club in Nogales , Arizona on November 3, 2006, which was broadcast on SOLO BOXEO. He is currently ranked #9 by the WBA and #11 by the WBC.
Martinez, of Mexico City , Mexico brings a record of 17-4 with eleven knockouts. His ten year career includes hard fought battles with world champions Ulises Solis and Pongsaklek Wonjonkam.
