Euro-Beat Update: Asikainen vs. Kukuls on Friday, Faces Sylvester June 23rd!

EBU middle champ Amin Asikainen fights Latvian Martins Kukuls on Friday in Helsinki in a non-title fight. Asikainen is set to take on mandatory challenger Sebastian Sylvester June 23 in Zwickau.
Veteran Thomas Hansvoll, at one time a prospect at supermiddle and a world title challenger at lightheavy, takes on Sauerland Eventīs Cuban cruiser Yoan Pablo Hernandez June 23 in Zwickau. Hansvoll drew with Dane Johny Jensen on the Kessler vs Beyer show in his last fight.
Female jr welter Cecilia Braekhus face Latvian Olga Bojare May 26 in Bamberg on the Abraham vs Demers, Huck vs Tokarev show.
Superbantam Reidar Walstad, who challenge EBU champ Bernard Dunne June 23 in Dublin, is currently preparing at home in Trondheim but will head to London next week for sparring with among others Martin Power. Win, lose or draw against Dunne Reidar is also set to fight September 15 in Karlstad, Sweden along with stablemate, lightheavy Kim Jenssen.
"Itīs big for us to fight there" says Robert Walstad, Reidarīs father and manager, "as we have family in the region."
