Euro-Beat Update: Susi Kentikian Tops Hamburg Show December 7th!

Spotlight Boxing and ProSieben again join forces and promote a show in Hamburg December 7 with WBA female fly champ Susianna Kentikian on top. Also on the bill are middleweight Gennadyi Golovkin, supermiddle Dmitri Sartison, jr light Vitaly Tajbert, middleweight Sebastian Zbik and heavyweight Sebastian Koeber.

HBO is currently in Denmark to do a special on WBA and WBC supermiddle champ Mikkel Kessler.

German market company Sportfive and Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko have parted ways after six years of collaboration. From now on all aspects of marketing, including the sale of their personality rights and the rights to their boxing matches, will be managed by Klitschko Management Group GmbH. The Klitschko brothers´ fights will still be promoted by K 2.

German heavy prospect Steffen Kretschmann face big American Corey Sanders on the McCall vs Gomez bill in Berlin October 19.

Former IBF cruiser champ Krzysztof Wlodarzcyk goes for the vacant IBC title against American Dominic Alexander in the headliner of HammerKnockout´ s show in Warzaw, Poland, October 20. Welter Rafael Jackiewicz is in the semifinal.

US-based Swede Attila Levin is all set to comeback on the Miranda vs Porres show in Hollywood, Florida, October 30. Levin, 29-3, ended his career after back to back losses to Jeremy Williams and Nikolai Valuev.

Late result: the Flying Dutchman, Raymond Joval had his first fight at home in Amsterdam Monday night (October 8) and outscored Frenchman Alban Mothie, a decent opponent over eight. On the undercard heavyweight Don Diego Poeder suffered another devasting loss as he was floored twice and stopped in the first round by Ukrainian Yaroslav Zavorotny. Poeder announced his retirement after the fight. The Carré Theatre in Amsterdam was sold out, 1500 people, and promoter Hans De Bruijn expects to be back early next year.

The planned clash between heavies Pedro Carrion and Goran Gogic that was set for Arena´s big show in Berlin October 19 is off after another promotional dispute involving Carrion. The 35-year old Cuban have now been released from his contract with Wiking Box Team.

2007 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dutch great Bep Van Kleveren. As usual the annual Bep Van Kleveren Memorial goes ahead, this year as an amateur show only, November 12 in Rotterdam. Bep have recently been elected as the greatest Rotterdamer in history.

Arena Box Promotion staged a three fight show at their big gym in Hamburg October 10 without even announcing it. On the show American heavy Cisse Salif, in Hamburg again as sparringpartner, stopped Ihar Shukala in the first. On the undercard supermiddle Sebastian Sonntag and Edmund Gerber both turned pro and won.
